I delivered my first sermon when I was seventeen. It was at an area-wide youth rally called “En Fuego.” In case you don’t know, that’s Spanish for “on fire,” because we wanted our peers to be “on fire for Jesus” (we were on the cutting edge of creativity). Somehow, we scrounged up a couple hundred people and I delivered my message. It don’t remember much about it, but I do remember that it included a “pop quiz” of ten questions. If you couldn’t answer all of them correctly, you weren’t a very good Christian and should do better.
Despite the quality of the message, there were people there gracious enough to encourage me to continue preaching. I have ever since, by God’s grace and the guidance of many godly, wise mentors. And I realize that I was made to preach the good news of Jesus Christ.
On this site, you can interact with some of my sermons in a couple different ways. First and most straightforward, there’s a page devoted to sermons. However, each individual sermon also has it’s own post, which also contain some additional thoughts about the message. Think of those as the “behind the scenes” special feature.
I love to preach so much, that if you’d benefit from me preaching at your church or event – you can let me know. I’m no Billy Graham, but I’ll do my best.
